- The ability to open new AutoMate DLMM positions is defunct as of the time of this announcement.
- Users who created Solana wallets through Starseed for automation have until January 31, 2026 to export their private keys.
This is a heart-wrenching decision, especially as Starseed marks its one-year anniversary. We started building Starseed during a uniquely volatile and exciting period in the Meteora ecosystem: DLMMs were heating up, and all of Solana had its eyes on Meteora with the biblical $TRUMP launch.
People wanted in on the DLMM extravaganza, but there weren't as many tools or resources to get started. So we built Starseed as a third-party tool to create a community of like-minded traders, onboard users to Meteora, and develop a DLMM scanner and position management system that filled a real gap at the time.
Last week, it was incredible to watch the presentations at MetDhabi. Meteora's roadmap for the year ahead is extremely bullish for the LP Army, with new tools that can turn LPing into a career and reduce complexity for noobs and veterans alike. Live PnL tracking and position charting are here, and automation is on the way. Meteora is becoming a true one-stop shop for everything an LPer needs.
Regrettably, that puts Starseed in a position where we're no longer needed and no longer financially viable.
We're proud to have served a purpose, and that's okay. We expect (and are already seeing) other third-party tools follow a similar path or pivot toward supporting additional ecosystems. Meteora was our home, and now it's time for us to move on to the great Starseed in the sky.
We are deeply grateful to the Meteora team and ecosystem partners for the support they've given us over the past 12 months. We're honored to have been part of your journey.
You'll still see us around, and we'll still be DLMMing — just as part of the LP Army, not as a third-party tool.
